T.V Drama + Me

Every week, I watch a lot of T.V dramas. I enjoy watching drama's about teenagers with one of my favourites being Skins.



The series manages to give an honest depiction of the lives of wild inner city teenagers. I like how the series manages to make be somewhat naturalistic with realistic characters but still manage to be extremely amusing at the same time.

Another T.V drama that I have just started watching recently is The Inbetweeners. Although I have only been watching it for  a month, it has already become one of my favourites. The contrast of different characters is very interesting and each episode never fails to amuse me.

Another drama that I'm OBSESSED with is Gossip Girl. Each week I tune into ITV 2 to get my weekly dose. The series is addictive, each episode leaving you eager for more.I thoroughly enjoy watching this programme as it gives an insight into the lives of upper east side American teens. Even if the depiction is not honest, it is extremely entertaining.

A lot of the time, I am forced to watch period T.V dramas. Some of them I enjoy such as Lark Rise To Candleford and the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. I absolutely HATE Upstairs, Downstairs, Poirot, Miss Marple and Forsytes Saga but unfortunately I am forced to endure these as my mum is a fan of all of these shows.
